Board and Council
The Virginia Apprenticeship Council and the Safety and Health Codes Board are the regulatory and advisory bodies formally constituted in the Code of Virginia which are affiliated with DOLI.
Apprenticeship Council – the advisory body charged with providing advice and guidance to the Commissioner in the Commissioner’s oversight of the Virginia Apprenticeship Program.
Safety and Health Codes Board – oversight body established by the Virginia General Assembly to make rules and regulations governing workplace safety operations.
