Brown Bag Lunch Series 2022

March 28, 2022 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Hear ye, Hear ye, calling all Chamber of Commerce members!

Behold the attributes of Registered Apprenticeship – the gem of a program that is 84 years young in Virginia. Registered Apprenticeship is the best work-based learning occupational training model this side of the Mississippi. Can Registered Apprenticeship boost your company’s retention? Quality of worker? Community of taxpayers? Come find out.

We especially want to reach out to Chamber of Commerce members statewide so that we can also hear your perspectives on the labor issues of today. However, all are welcome to this open event.

Meet my Co-Host, Prince William’s own Eugene Brown:

Mr. Brown develops Public-Private & Private-Private Partnerships in Prince William County that assists members with services: homeless, veteran, disabled, elderly, youth, underserved, receive ‘quality of life resources’ (health, labor, education, recreation, housing), including transportation. As Vice-Chair of the PW Chamber Education & Workforce Committee, he developed a youth transportation partnership between the Chamber, OmniRide, the 3-School Divisions in Prince William County, and NOVA Community College. This initiative provides free rides to the youth in the community while enhancing student workforce opportunities.
