
1910 General Industry Standards

1904 Recordkeeping Violations– Regulations regarding the Recording and Reporting Occupational Injuries and Illnesses that are applicable in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

1910 General Industry Standards – Section 6(a) of the Williams-Steiger Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, Standards which are either (1) national concensus standards on whose adoption affected persons have reached substantial agreement, or (2) Federal standards already established by Federal statutes or regulations.

1915, 1917 and 1918 – Maritime Standards – [NOTE: VOSH Maritime Standards only apply to public sector employers and employees in Virginia. Private sector maritime employers and employees are covered by federal OSHA jurisdiction.]

1926 Construction Industry Standards – This part sets forth the safety and health standards promulgated by the Secretary of Labor under section 107 of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act.

1928 Agriculture Industry Standards – This part contains occupational safety and health standards applicable to agricultural operations.

VOSH Unique Standards – Some regulations are unique to the Commonwealth of Virginia. The VOSH Unique Standards are enacted by the Safety and Health Codes Board for enforcement by the Department of Labor and Industry. These are as follows:
