What is a volunteer?

A VPP volunteer is someone that has extensive experience in safety and health and is donating their time and knowledge to work with companies to improve their safety and health programs.

What does a volunteer do?

A volunteer may be asked to be part of the team for a VPP evaluation, work with companies as they do VPP Challenge or the Virginia BEST Program. Your experience in the Safety Industry will allow you to help evaluate safety programs, policies and procedures. In addition to this, you may be asked to help out at conferences, VPP Best Practices Days or workshops.
